My Very Own Forest Spirit is an unusual game. One might call it a LARP, but don’t worry you don’t have to act out anything peculiar in public (unless you want to). One might also refer to it as a Stroll-playing Game, in that the game is played while you go on a walk or a hike in a natural area or park. What is definitely true is that it is a gentle game of imagination and wonder that can be played alone or with friends.
The premise of the game is that our world, long drained of its natural energy, is beginning to wake up from a long slumber. The spirits are returning to the land, to heal the damage caused while they rested, and they have chosen you as a companion to help them grow a natural energy, called Bloom.
The goal of the game is to travel to a natural location (even a public park will suffice). This is called an Outing. There you will engage in small game actions, called Offerings, to grow Bloom in the area, awaken spirits and grow your friendship with your spirit and other spirits you meet along the way.
